The Re-Roofing Process

In anticipation of the questions you may have about the re-roofing process, we would like to give you a brief overview of what to expect once you decide to have Signature Roofing install your roof:

• Some contractors require up to $1,000.00 when signing the contract, but we believe that this amount is excessive, as a result we do not require any money up front.
  
• Once you have signed an agreement with Signature Roofing, the partner in charge of operations will contact you to agree on a start date and to discuss what you should expect from the start to conclusion of the job.
  
• We will thoroughly review the permits and inspections required.
  
• If the material on your old roof needs to be removed, we will discuss the timing of the tear-off and any special considerations that apply. For instance, if your garage roof does not have a ceiling - and most don't - we will tarp the inside of your garage to avoid a mess when the old roofing material falls into your garage.
• Once the work is in progress, we will notify you if there is any unexpected condition, such as dry rot, and we will agree upon how we are going to proceed.
• Our crews are responsible for making sure that your home is cleaned up daily to take care of any mess created by our roofing work
  
• Most roofs can be replaced in 1 to 2 days.

Whether or not you select Signature Roofing to re-roof your home, we would like to emphasize that the steps outlined above are what you should reasonably expect from any contractor you select to do the job.
